Practice Admin users have the ability to customize the practice’s default video call duration and configure up to 6 new price options for video call consults.
Step 1: Log in to Anipanion with your practice admin credentials. Click Practice Management.
Step 2: Click Settings.
Step 3: Click Video.
Step 4: Click edit to see the dropdown menu and change your default video call duration.
Step 5: Click the dropdown and select your desired video call duration.
* This will allow you to create multiple video pricing types in the increments of the default video call duration that you configured. For example, if you select 15 minutes as your default video call duration, you can then create video call pricing options with varying durations in increments of 15 (15, 30, 45, 60 min).
Note* Your scheduler will not allow you to schedule a video call for 20 minutes unless you change your default video call duration setting to the correct value/multiple — 10 or 20 minutes in this example.
The video call duration should match the calendar slot intervals in your PIMS (Cornerstone, Avimark, ImproMed, etc.). For instance, if your Cornerstone calendar is set up in 15 minute intervals, then select “15 minutes” as your default video call duration.
Step 6: To add a new video call pricing option, click +Add New Video Call Price.
Step 7: Fill in the name of the consult type (e.g Virtual Visit - Dental).
Step 8: Select the desired duration from the dropdown list.
Step 9: Enter the appropriate pricing/charge for that particular video call type.
Step 10: Toggle the extra minute charge feature On/Off (optional) and assign the appropriate per minute charge for an extended video call below.
Step 11: Click. Submit, and you're all set!
